Ever suffer from paralysis while trying to pick a font? This little tool is meant to help generate ideas for font pairings and type scales that you’ve never thought of before. Below is how it works.

Two modes

On the control panel, you can choose between these two modes. You can start by using “Randomize” to spark some broadstroke ideas, and then use customize to make little tweaks to your heart’s content.

Randomize

When you click on the "Randomize" button, a random font will be applied to the preview text. Keep clicking to discover different possibilities! You can also confine your search to specific font categories such as serif, sans-serif, monospace, etc. using the dropdown.

Customize

All the other features fall under "Customize." You can click on "Current Font" to specify a font. You can also select a type scale and customize the white space to emulate your layout needs!
